Our Beautiful Campus
Nestled in the northwest corner of Flower Mound, our Montessori campus is a nurturing haven where children thrive. With serene, home-inspired spaces and hands-on learning environments, we cultivate curiosity, independence, and a love for discovery. The thoughtfully prepared environment fosters creativity, exploration, and a deep connection to learning.
Designed Especially for Children
The Alden Montessori campus provides a serene, child-centered setting that embodies the Montessori philosophy of fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. The campus is a beacon of academic excellence and holistic development, blending natural beauty with purposeful design to create an ideal space for young learners to thrive.
Our campus is characterized by its inviting and carefully curated classrooms, each crafted to inspire self-directed exploration. Natural light floods the spacious rooms, complemented by calming colors and uncluttered shelves that encourage children to engage with Montessori materials arranged to progress from concrete to abstract concepts. These materials, accessible on child-sized shelving, are meticulously organized to support developmental stages, fostering skills in mathematics, science, language, and cultural studies. The absence of traditional desks allows students to work at tables or on floor mats, promoting freedom of movement and collaboration. Classroom pets and living plants further enrich the environment, teaching children responsibility and a connection to nature.
Our outdoor playscape features nature all around, offering the children a haven for running and playing while providing opportunities for physical activity and environmental education, allowing students to explore the natural world while developing resilience and curiosity. With climbing structures, a sand pit, building materials, and space to run, this outdoor space serves as an extension of the classroom, where children can engage in hands-on learning, from observing plant life to participating in group activities that build teamwork and communication skills.
The Alden Montessori Music Garden, nestled in our playscape, is a vibrant outdoor venue where children explore sound through a cavatina, marimba, and drums. Talk tubes spark playful communication, blending with joyful children’s voices. This sensory-rich space fosters creativity, collaboration, and musical discovery, harmonizing nature and Montessori principles for young learners.
Alden Montessori also has a warm and inviting children’s reading library where students can enjoy fiction and non-fiction alike. Designed as a cozy sanctuary where children can immerse themselves in the amazing universe of science or lose themselves in a world of faraway places and adventures. Our reading library encourages the love of literacy!
Our students feel at home on our campus and enjoy coming to school each and every day.
